You never buy a number through Talqing
There is no number search and no number purchase here. You buy numbers in your carrier’s own console, on your own carrier account, and Talqing imports the ones you choose. That follows from the same rule as the rest of the platform: the carrier relationship, the carrier invoice and the number itself stay yours. Talqing charges a per-minute platform fee on voice and video and nothing else — see pricing and credits.Supported carriers
Four, and only four. Nothing else can be connected. The two directions
A number carries calls in whichever directions you enable on it, and the two have different prerequisites.
Outbound needs no assignment: the agent is named on each request. Inbound has no
request to name one on, which is why the number itself has to carry the answer.
Phone numbers, carrier accounts, calls and your credit balance are regional
— they belong to the base URL they were created against. The same personal
access token works in every region; the resources do not cross. See
regions.
Getting a number answering
1
Connect a carrier account
Record the carrier credential, then run setup on it. Some carriers need a
step in their own console that no API can verify.

2
Import a number you own
List what the account owns at the carrier and import the ones you want.
Importing provisions each number as it goes.

3
Assign a published voice agent
One agent per number. Republishing that agent updates live routing on its
own — you never reassign. Inbound calls
4
Place a call out of it
Dial one number with
POST /v1/calls/outbound, or a whole list with a
batch. Outbound callsNext
